Guidance Close to Practice - Sustainable Social Inclusion in Daycare (VEBID)
Project description
With a growing number of children facing neuro-psychosocial challenges and the shift towards inclusive education, there is an increasing need for new skills in mainstream pedagogical practice. This project explores and develops practical, hands-on professional guidance in daycare settings to enhance and qualify inclusion efforts. This new form of guidance takes place directly within the daily routines of daycare centers. It focuses on fostering better interactions among all children, with special attention to those who struggle with play and other social situations. Some of these children may have diagnoses such as autism or ADHD, while others may not. By integrating new research-based knowledge on inclusive practices deeply into mainstream pedagogy, the project aims to bridge the gap between mainstream pedagogical practice and individual support, thereby strengthening community-building for all children.
