Project description

The project RÅDVILD is based on a collaboration between Center for Digital
Pædagogik, Aarhus University and RådgivningsDanmark and will be managed by a steering group consisting of Anni Marquard (CfDP), Carsten Stage (AU) and Trine Nyby (RD). The project has three central objectives: 1) to create a nuanced understanding of how and why many users of mediated counselling services become 'regular users' who contact the services frequently and without signs of progression, 2) to identify when regular use as a communicative practice is perceived as problematic by counsellors and/or users, and 3) to develop communicative measures and initiatives that approach and handle the 'problematic regular use' in new constructive ways. The project will be a significant contribution to research into frequent calling and the importance of media in connection with vulnerability and crises.
