VELUX FONDEN’s 2030 strategy addresses a wide range of significant societal challenges and opportunities influencing democracy and sustainability in the Danish society.
The founder and the history
It started with a good idea.
His father was a clergyman, and money was tight. However, KR possessed drive, ideas and ambitions that led him first to Sorø Academy and then to Technical University of Denmark (now DTU), where he graduated as an engineer in 1932.
