Extraordinary grant for Ukraine - Elderly Ukrainian Refugees in Denmark

The VELUX FOUNDATION has decided to issue a grant within a frame of 5 mio. DKK in support of developing activities for elderly Ukrainian refugees in Denmark.
From this frame The Danish Refugee Council has been granted an amount of 1.5 mio. DKK to further develop the method Mindsping in improving the mental and social well-being among elderly Ukrainian refugees.
Also from this frame, an amount of 1 mio. DKK has been granted to The Preserve Ukraine Society in the establishing of local groups and activities.
The elderly Ukrainian refugees should be able to meet locally with others in a similar situation. Furthermore, it is the intention that the elderly Ukrainian refugees will be able to enhance their knowledge of the Danish society and be able to integrate themselves into the society while being here as refugees.
