VELUX FOUNDATION aims to support an active and meaningful adult life — throughout life — through activities that benefit both individuals and society.

People aged 60 and above are a significant resource in society. They contribute experience, commitment and strong communities, creating value both locally and nationally.

Agency 60+ offers several funding opportunities for individuals, associations and organisations working to strengthen agency and participation among older adults in local communities.

Smaller grants that make a difference
Through small-scale activity grants, the Foundation supports local initiatives led by volunteers aged 60+, enabling more people to stay active and engaged in everyday life.

At the same time, the Foundation provides publication support for adults aged 67+ who wish to realise their ambition of becoming authors and share their experience, knowledge or fiction.

Support for larger method development projects
Method development is often the missing piece that enables communities to grow and create greater impact. For this reason, VELUX FOUNDATION supports organisations and associations in developing initiatives that strengthen agency and community — to the benefit of both individuals and society.

For organisations seeking to develop new approaches or test new ways of engaging volunteers aged 60+, the method development track provides room to explore and refine solutions that can later be scaled.

Funding is awarded through open calls, which are announced on an ongoing basis on the Foundation’s website.
