Networking, dissemination and anchoring efforts under the Danish, Greenlandic and Faroese committee for the UN Ocean decade
Project description
Networking, dissemination and anchoring efforts under the Danish, Greenlandic and Faroese committee for the UN Ocean decade
The Danish, Greenlandic and Faroese committee for the UN Ocean decade aims to facilitate and coordinate activities linked to the decade with a focus on Danish, Greenlandic and Faroese sea areas
The project supports the committee's work in clarifying and translating knowledge, by connecting challenges and needs to public and private decision-makers and support increased activity in the theme groups with the common aim of qualifying the challenges of the UN decade in a Greenlandic, Faroese, Danish and/or regional context. This includes pointing out concrete new activities and building a bridge between knowledge and decision-makers. The project must create a clear Ocean Decade imprint in the Kingdom of Denmark (especially via the committee) and must at the same time utilize the great potential to bring together and create high activity among ocean-interested people and professionals around common goals with a sustainable ocean in mind.
