Project description

Impact Lab 2.0 is a development and test of a new format for research-practice-collaborations. It consists of an experimental and in-depth interdisciplinary laboratory, where 10-15 researchers and practitioners with diverse knowledge and experiences are invited into a facilitated working space. Here they are to develop solutions for specific societal challenges within the theme of “democratic sustainability”. The project has a duration of 2,5 years consisting of a development phase followed by two laboratories, each of which lasts 12 months. The aim is to create concrete changes and build up capacity and competencies for research-practice collaborations among the participants of the lab and their respective organizations. The project draws inspiration from a data collection on international experiences with research-practice collaborations among leading university environments abroad. Impact Lab 2.0 is a partnership between VELUX FONDEN and Queen Mary’s Center at the University of Copenhagen.
