CONCITO - more impact in a new climate reality

Project “More impact in a new climate reality” aims to strengthen and secure the role of CONCITO as an important independent knowledge partner for the green transition in Denmark and, through a strong international outlook and willingness to contribute to the transition, especially in the EU, but also more broadly internationally.

The work of CONCITO will include activities both in Denmark and internationally, as the framework for climate action is changing significantly in these years. The ambitions and pace of the efforts must be increased to avoid the worst climate changes, while at the same time climate action is complex and requires integrated thinking, prioritization and clarity in the decisions that are made. There is also a shortage of land, energy and resources, which is why climate is closely linked to other agendas.
CONCITOS's specific focus will include:
1) The role as a knowledge partner - to bring the necessary knowledge into play in the new climate reality
2) Partnerships and leveraging of efforts - to create results together with others
3) Systemic thinking and understanding of the climate transition - to address the necessary climate transition
4) Transversal thinking, practice and flexibility - to be able to identify solutions across sectors, etc.
5) Full integration between Danish and international transition - to ensure that Danish climate efforts are seen in an international context
6) A strengthened Europeanization of Danish climate efforts
7) An increased focus on resilience to climate change
8) Greater private sector understanding - to support leadership in a broader circle of actors among companies, investors, etc.
9) Lighthouses as cornerstones in CONCITO – to ensure the impact, professionalism and efficiency of CONCITO's work
10) Increased focus on ensuring a fair green transition, which at the same time ensures sufficient green brains and hands for the deep transition.
