The coast is clear – building communities through regenerative ocean farming

The coast is clear will develop and test a new model for democratic sustainability through regenerative ocean farming in the Danish municipalities of Odsherred and Langeland. The project brings together young people, citizens, associations, municipalities and local stakeholders through hands-on activities by the sea, creating new ways to participate in the green transition. Through educational activities, local events, partnerships and the establishment of community ocean gardens, the project will strengthen local communities, democratic agency and ownership of the local marine environment. Experiences will inspire other municipalities to engage the citizens in efforts to improve the climate and local nature.
