Biodiversitetsindsatser i havvindenergi: Forening af økosystembaseret og virksomhedsdreven tilgang på tværs af skalaer

EcoCorp investigates how biodiversity can be integrated into offshore wind energy across scales by combining an ecosystem-based and business-driven approach. The project's premise is that the challenge lies in applying current tools, not inventing new ones. Three work packages analyze current practices and develop solutions through collaboration with key stakeholders. The project develops a process framework that guides a more ecosystem-based application of existing planning tools. The goal is to ensure that biodiversity considerations are embedded in planning and practice, thereby reducing the negative effects of offshore wind development on marine ecosystems. EcoCorp is led by CBS and WWF Denmark in collaboration with DTU Aqua and DTU Wind.
