After receiving a grant

When you have received a grant, you probably want to share the good news, which we greatly appreciate. And long-term results are also interesting and relevant to share. In this context, please remember to follow our guidelines regarding reporting, publication, logo usage, etc. You can read more about them here, and you can also download templates, logos, information and guides for further use and communication.

Reporting

If you have received funding for a project, you should discuss reporting with a foundation advisor.
Both during the project and upon its completion. Check your award letter for more detailed contact information.

You can find templates for reporting within our various grant areas – including: Researchfish for use in connection with grants in the technical and natural sciences research area. Click on the link in the box on the right.

Communication and publication

If you have received a grant, we expect you to communicate about the grant and the results achieved as a result of the grant. For example, publication of research results, presentations at professional conferences. In addition, it could be relevant to tell a wider circle about the benefit and social benefit that your project will provide or has already provided.

We uphold the principle that it is the grantees who can best communicate the impact of a project. We therefore assume that you, as a grantee, take the lead in the communication activities both at publication and during the project, when there are results, events or anything else that renders visible the effect of the project and the distributed funds visible. The results and publications of the project must be freely available to the public.

You are always welcome to draw on us. We are happy to discuss the dissemination task and communication plans with you, and to provide sparring and input regarding the publication of a grant and communication of results.

Transparency of source of funding

For the sake of transparency about funding sources, it should, as far as possible, be made clear (in publications, on relevant websites, social media etc.) that your project is funded by the foundation, preferably using our logo according to the applicable guidelines (see above). Example: “This project is funded by Villum Foundation.”
